As a young boy Pablo dreamed of becoming a professional baseball athlete. He earned a full ride college scholarship to play for Major League veteran Gary Redus (Pittsburg Pirates and the Texas Rangers). In spite of Pablo’s talents his rage ruined many of his opportunities to advance, from the pain of early abuse and rejection.

Pablo Contreras was born on July 15, 1974 in Cd. Mier, Mexico. He was born out of extreme poverty and riddled with drugs, gangs and despair. His family then moved to Fairfield, Texas. Pablo graduated from Fairfield High School in 1994.

The dream became a reality in the fall of 2000. After facing years of rejection, he finally signed his first professional minor league contract with the Harlingen White Wings. As a rookie he won his first professional championship series.

After years of hard work, he was sidelined by an injury. Pablo's pursuit for that dream was crushed, and then he also went through a major identity crises.

This is where the story becomes one of triumph and perseverance, instead of destroying his life.

Today Pablo Contreras is an internationally known speaker and author. He is the Founder of U2L. His motivating message challenges many circles of life. His new dream is to unleash people from their deepest fears that trap their passion, inspiring them to pursue their greatest desires and dreams through the use of powerful skits, dynamic insights and real-life issues. Pablo’s message inspires and motivates his audience to take control of their lives.

Through Pablo’s life experiences he relates how painful experiences can alter perception and train of thought and he helps people to better understand how insecurities can take control of an individual's life. He inspires his audience to get passed the fears that paralyze the ability to perform and maximize their talents.
